Bovine Botulism
Bovine Botulism Botulism is caused by a bacteria that leads to a flaccid paralysis. Because of the paralysis, animals cannot properly chew their food and often have wads of un-chewed food stuck in the back of their throat.
Congenital Cataracts
Congenital Cataracts This calf was born with congenital cataracts which prevented it from being able to see.
Urolythiasis These stones were removed from the bladder of an 8 month old male castrated goat. When a goat becomes blocked, it can be a life threatening condition that requires immediate veterinary attention.
Broken Bones
Broken Bones Occasionally, during the birthing process, baby kids and lambs can break their legs. Luckily they heal quickly!!
